Recirculation System

Because DEF will freeze at around 12° F (-11° C), no DEF system is complete without a means to prevent it from freezing in the lines. When temperatures drop, EVO™ recirculates the fluid – preventing it from freezing in the lines.

DEF RECIRCULATION MONITORING

The DEF Recirculation application, available on EVO™ 600 and EVO™ 6000, allows users to automate the recirculation of DEF as a means to prevent freezing while also providing DEF inventory management and line monitoring capabilities.

Temperature Thresholds

Select user-defined temperatures at which recirculation is both triggered and shutoff, allowing EVO™ to automate operation and navigate fluctuating environmental temperatures in an energy efficient manner.

System Status

Get a quick snapshot of key system performance indicators, line temperatures, recirculation status, and inventory levels.

Automated Alerts

Should EVO™ detect a drop in inventory levels during a recirculation period without dispenses, the app can issue an alarm, ensuring timely detection of potential product leaks.

MAXIMUM ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Instead of turning on a heated-pipework system at the beginning of winter and constantly running it, the temperature sensors in the DEF recirculation system will trigger the system to only run when it’s absolutely needed.

EVO™ Series DEF Recirculation System

The DEF recirculation system is available as software option on EVO™ Series ATGs that includes recirculation, scheduling, and timer conditions.

  • For new ATGs, include internal software option "C".
  • For existing ATGs, order TS-CON.
  • A 6" temperature sensors with ½" NPT compression fitting installation hardware (FMP-TEM) is also required. 
  • An 8 input 4-20 mA module (TS-420IB) for the sensor (FMP-TEM), is also required.
